The drop in movements in april was caused by works, which made the airport unavailable for training flights for more than a week. Management of Ostend is off course still thinking that it's the only airport that is not affected by the crisis. One should bear in mind that they compare their cargo figures with the terrible year 2008. It's almost impossible to do worse! By the way, you can expect fabulous cargo figures for the month of may, especially when compared with last year when the airport was closed for cargo flights almost for the whole month. The Ostend manager will again glow of proud!
