Registration wanted AZ/SN codeshare to Milan

Post by cathay belgium »

Hi guys,

I booked a flight to from BRU to CTA via FCO but Alitalia called me today
to say our flight is changed via MILAN MALPENSA in codeshare with Sabena!
I think they mean Brussels Airlines off course!
But now :!:
Alitalia website gives me a flight AZ7029 with SN's B737-300.
Brussels tells me flight SN3153 with Avro RJ100.
The flight times were both 05/05/2009 06h45 - 08h20.
I tought code-share flights always has the same number with differt airline code,
like AZ7029 and SN7029 as example.
Does anyone could help me out, and tell me the aircraft with registration please ! :?:
Thx in advance!

Ciao,CX-B

Amadeus is also showing the SN flight as RJ100 and the codeshare flight with 733. I would trust the regular SN and go with RJ100.

Code: Select all

Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St
--------- ------ ---- --------- ---- --------- ---- ----
AZ/SN 7029 BRU 06:45 MXP 08:20 733 0
SN 3153 BRU 06:45 MXP 08:20 AR1 0
brusselsairlines.com shows SN5153 operated by "Avro RJ100 Avroliner", so that's your best shot. Codeshare flights are in general not to be trusted.

Can't help you with the registration, unfortunately.

This is certainly not a rule, you can often find part of the original flight number back in the flight number of the marketing carrier but this doesn't necessarily have to be the case.

OO-DWJ, an ARJ-100, will operate your flight (subject to change).

As you can see, registrations are very volatile which makes it difficult to predict on which aircraft you'll fly.

OO-DWF is now scheduled to operate your flight.
