A Jetairfly.com Boeing 737-700, registration OO-JAN performing flight TB-912 from Las Palmas,CI (Spain) to Liege (Belgium), diverted to Faro (Portugal) because of a cracked windshield.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration OO-VAC was dispatched to Faro the following day and reached Liege with about 24 hours delay.

Last night (24 Feb) there was an interview with an elderly couple on a programme called "Man bijt hond" (man bites dog) on Belgian national tv. In the interview the couple claimed that the flight from Faro to Liege was going to be carried out on the original plane, i.e. the one that had had the cracked wind shield. However, before take-off, an announcement was made that there was a computer problem and that the plane could not take off until that problem had been fixed. The couple said in the interview that after this second incident with the same plane passengers got so scared that they refused to continue and demanded another aircraft was used.
