I'ts that these winglets reduce fuleburn and improve lift. Otherwise it just where wings that are been bend and that wouldn't make me that confident to sit in the plane :D

It appears that the top of the trailing edge of the winglet is tapered to the rear - interesting.

Strange, the wingletted A320 looks like an E190 to me...

Hello

I thought they where already investigating this for 2 years now. But I must say, I think I've seen pictures earlier but on those pictures the winglets look a bit different from these ones. Maybe these are a newer version.

I must say it has become a common sight on 737's but I still find it a bit 'odd' looking on the A32S but I guess it's again just a matter of getting used to it.
I hope to see them flying soon around the world.
