Last week I saw an old lady who went inside the new 'wine shop' and tried to get out by the other door, thinking it was the only way to the gates in the Shengen Terminal. I had to help her through the detour in the bar to reach her gate. I quite share the feeling that this airport could be better managed.
As for the punctuality, I have seen many flights cancelled...and I wonder where those go in the statistics.
Statistics, Awards,...

Nice profits, yes but at the expense of service, basic maintenance.

I see many loose ends when I use BRU, which I do not see in other airports around the Globe.

Toilets: they are dirty, yes, but about every toilet in a Western airport is dirty. Shall I give you some insight at EWR toilets?

Arrival area: what is the meaning of the arrival area? Getting people as quick as possible into the country, so you only find the necessary shops, food corners and info desks at the arrival hall. The arrivals level of the B-concourse is quite dull, indeed, but pax don't need to hang around there. One thing though, it might be a good idea to open a food and drink shop at that level around the transfer security check.

What's wrong with the bus area? OK, right now it's a wharf, but overall? It's pretty clean and basic. Parkings? They are all conveniently close to the terminal and only Front Park 2 is an old, ugly and cramped parking. In the last spring there were to less parking spots, but this will be managed by Brussels Airport on it's appropriate time.

What they can improve at the airport is the train station, which has that typical 80's look of the NMBS, but I doubt this is the responsibility of Brussels Airport.
FP2 should be replaced by a new parking building, like FP3. And finally, do something about the traffic infrastructure at the arrivals level. Let all cars drive into the parking building and allow them free parking for 30', a low fare for the next 30' and a higher fare from then on.
