In the last rays of sun, the magnificant Ił-76 has landed. It's very rare bird here, it was 4 years ago when we had seen Ił-76 before.
Day was very cloudy for some time, but then the clouds disspaeared and I've managed to take some very nice and colorful evening sunlight photos.

Re: WAW 26/09/2008
Hello
Those are some nice pictures you took! Really nice evening light. There are still quite some nice aircraft wich are quite rare to see in Western Europe, like the LET 'Turbolet' and the Mielec 28. Nice work.
What concerncs the IL-76. The 'classic' IL-76 is rare in most parts of the World now except in Russia / Ukraïne and some country's in the borderzone Western Asia & Eastern Europe and Africa of course. But you might get to see the IL 76-TD90-VDA more often as those are newly built aircraft for Volga Dnepr. They have the same design with probably some modifications and more silent engines. The cockpit still looks old altough there are some more glass instruments
(among them GPS
).
Best regards, Yannick
