214 passengers, mainly Belgians, are blocked in Antalya (Turkey) since Sunday night. They should have flown to Brussels in the night from Sunday to Monday with a flight by Turkish airline Inter Airlines but the flight was cancelled for technical reasons. Tour operator Corendon is unhappy with Inter Airlines which does not keep up with their promises.
Monday, Corendon had planned another Brussels-Antalya flight but nothing is clear after the disruptions at Brussels Airport.
Corendon is contacting other airlines to find a solution for both these flights. Nobody was available for comments at Inter Airlines. Three weeks ago, 300 passengers having booked holidays with Corendon had been blocked at Brussels because of an engine failure on a plane chartered by the tour operator.
