Well, here's a little preview, as I couldn't resist to still edit the AN-124 shots before going to bed...

 The beast on short final for runway 23L :

 Gliding in, last metres before touchdown :

Due to works on a taxiway, he had to taxi via the other side of the runway, which would give us some extra photo opportunities later on:

 Follow me, big chief :

 Starting the right turn towards us :

Image

 Getting closer... 35mm shot :

 Even closer Sir ? 28mm shot :

 Taking the exit towards the LTU hangar :

 Parking ok, nose up :

I hope you like this little collection.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Great pictures. It's some special location isn't it? Is this place accessible for common mortars?

These pics were taken from the terrace at the train station. Opening hours are on the DUS website.

@Robin: Impressive pics!

Thanks to both of you :D

I wanted to post a new series of shots right now but there seems to be a problem with the Imageshack website at the moment.

I guess I'll do it tomorrow then...

Regards, Robin Bamps.

On the last picture, the A330 was starting its take-off roll while the A319 was taxiing by.
