To me, with all that red on the livery, it looks more communist than before. On a more neutral note : "nothing to write home about" (just like b.air's new livery : rather dull).

Two remarks:

1) The blue of the Czech flag has disappeared from the new livery.
2) If they wanted to change something, they could have changed the name as well: CSA stands for Czecho- Slovak Airlines, and the country has been split!

Totally correct. A missed opportunity (changing the old CSA name, too).
Or they should have called it Czech Super Airlines !!! (sorry). I often don't understand decisions made by airlines (but that's probably because I'm too stupid).

of the latest releases of new paintschemes, CSA really gets the 1st price for screwing up big time ! I find the livery so basic and image-less ... Let's hope they do like Delta did a few years ago and release a new (and better) livery within the next 24 months.

Airlines seem to be very good at hiring the services of inompetent communication companies. I fully agree with Andries. Too bad for CSA and their pax....and all the other people who will have to look at these aircraft at airports.

Since the break up of Czechoslovakia in 1993, CSA has been considered an abbreviation of Česaerolinie (Czech Airlines in Czech).

Thanks for the explanation, summersso.

Looks like CSA are also going to do an "IBERIA" and move some of their flights to a low cost "CLICK" version of themselves:

They've probably copy-pasted that logo from this:

Notice the similarity of the logo's...
Fly4hours, making the path to airline pilot affordable to all
