Jet Airways is thinking about a new cargo airline

Post by Atlantis »

Naresh Goyal is serious thinking about a new Indian cargo airline. He is at this moment in talk with some serious partners to set up a new cargo airline. He will announce the new plans before the end of 2007.

And knowing their goals, I think they will get their cargo airline.

Maybe they can put their European cargo hub also at Brussels Airport. It could be, seeing the Brucargo West project with 120.000 square meters more cargo space.

I wouldn't mind if they came to Brussels but I can hear a lot of people complain already about the noise....

People are always complaining about noise. But glad to see that Brussels Airport is thinking about the future.

This is off topic but also important: Schiphol raised the fees for airliners who fly at night to and from Schiphol, and more important for cargo airliners. Some of them are not happy with it and are thinking to leave Schiphol. Brussels Airport knows that and is now working hard to attract those carriers to Brussels Airport.

Back to the topic about Jet Airways cargo future.

It's 99,9 % sure that Jet Airways will buy new aircraft like A330-200F or 777-200LRF for this carrier.

How do you know? Why not a 747-800F?
