uk route changes

Post by jet2uk »

several airlines have cut and changed some routes over the last few months:
air berlin is dropping its STN-GLA service ( direct competition from easyjet), its STN-LEI and STN-BHD (where it had indirect competition from ryanair at AOC and easyjet at BFS), its also dropping BOH-PAD and MAN-PAD, MAN-HAM )direct competition from lufthansa) and is the third airlines to drop flights from NW England- London when it drops MAN-STN in october....VLM dropped its LPL-LCY and ryanair its BLK-STN, leaving both liverpool and blackpool with no direct flights to london now..virgin trains will be pleased...ending of blackpool flights was on top of collapse of BNWA, Flykeen and after Jet2 ended its flights to AMS and PRG...

Flyglobespan have also already reduced frequency on LPL-JFK, and is cutting the route in october, it is also not continuing its routes to YHM from LPL, SNN, NCL, STN, LGW, EXE, DUB, BHX, BFS, EDI, NOC and DSA...perhaps these will start again next summer, but they havn't been put on sale yet as some 08' flights have.

Jet2 are opening a route between LBA-LBC and flybmi have now put on sale the flights that they will operate from october 30th, formerly of BMED, but have recently scrapped their routes from ABZ-AMS and ABZ-BRU, as well as flyglobespan cancelling ABZ-GVA and Monarch cancelling ABZ-AGP.
