Hi Avro
OO-SFN is still in old colour scheme.
We have to wait until next year to see the new colour scheme when SNBA 'll buy Birdy

Thanks for your reply sabena4ever.

Why would SNBA wait until then to repaint the planes. Wouldn't it be more cheaper to paint them directly in the new colours during the D-Check :?:

Good evening Avro and Gliding-glider

It's a partnership between Birdy and SNBA. SNBA is not alone to decide what they want to do with the A330.

Of course, nothing is done, but in Octobre 2004, SNBA could buy Birdy, it's an "option" that is going according to the timing, and SNBA says that it could be done to reduce the cost.
If you can read french, here are my references

"Nous voulons racheter Birdy Airlines"
Mis en ligne le 19/10/2003 (La Libre Belgique)
SNBA va exercer son option d'achat sur son partenaire pour les lignes africaines. En octobre 2004, SN Brussels Airlines aura l'opportunité d'exercer son option d'achat et prendre ainsi le contrôle de Birdy Airlines.
Nous avons l'intention, même si la décision n'est pas prise à ce jour, d'exercer cette option."

In English, SNBA want to buy out Birdy Airlines. They could do it in Octobre 2004, but nothing is done today. But in the near future, we want to do it.
so, wait and see......`

So, all three A330s are now flying, in time for the Christmas holiday season, which traditionally brings back a lot of expats. Good timing (BTW there will be one or two additional flights, coded SN 1xxx, to Africa in December).

When is the 3rd A330 undergoing its D-check?

It's time for OO-SFO to undergo its D-check.
There are only two A330 flights to Africa programmed since a few days.

When did OO-SFO leave to Singapore?
When will it come back?

Hi
I think oo-sfo is gone on 12 february. After this date, there are only 2 african fligths scheluded.
I suppose "she" have to be back before the 19 March ? because
on 19 march, there are 3 african fligths, I think, dakar, Kinshasa, Entebbe
