And it has the following features :

The EOS Cleaning System, as first introduced on the EOS 400D,

A new AF-system,

A durable shutter for up to 100.000 shots (not like my 10D that died after 42.000 shots),

A larger 3 inch screen with LiveView,

A highspeed drive mode of 6,5 frames per second. (Low speed drive mode is 3 fps),

An imagebuffer for 75 large JPEG's or 17 RAW images,

A minimal form of weather-sealing
All-in-all what looks to be become a succesful successor of the EOS 30D.

Also, Canon today announced 2 new EF-S lenses, both equiped with a 4-stop Image Stabiliser :
