Aircraft Identifier
Hi,
For my Aircraft Identifier (see other post) i still need some help. I am still looking for visual differences (if any) between the following aircraft:
-A318 & A319
-B737-100 & B737-200
-B737-300/500/600/700
-MD81 & DC9
-B717,MD87 & MD88
-B757-200,B767-400 & B777-200
-MD82 & MD83
-RJ85,RJ100 & BAe146
-Saab2000 & BAe-ATP
please note that those differences should be easilly seen by eye, so things like X is 32cm longer than Y should be avoided!
thanks,

Matthias, a few small details.
-If I recall well difference between 318-319 can be spotted on the tailrudder (1pc vs 2pcs)
- on the 737NG the pitot-tubes are closer to the nose of the a/c. I know it's a detail, but very important if you want to position a boarding bridge (damage !!).
- I think that for the 777 (vs 767) the 6wheel bogey is typical, together with the apu-exhaust.
- the atp looks like if it's going to tip over when rolling.
- I don't think there are external difference between md82 and md83.
I know these are small details and some of them only of any use when the a/c is nearby (taxiing, landing,...)

You can see the difference between an RJ85 and a BAe146 by looking at the aft part of the plane. The BAe has a "don't remember the name" to prevent the aircraft being damaged on steep take-offs.
Here are two pics where you can spot the difference
BAe146
RJ85
You can clearly see the Eurowings has something the SNBA has not under the airbrake.
BTW OO-DJL has extra UNICEF titles
, that's kind of SNBA
ciao,

Visual difference between 757-200 and 767-400:
First one: The diameter of the fuselage. It's quite easy to tell the diference when you see both planes with a front view.
Second one: The B767-400's wing is ending differently than the those of the B757-200. It's very hard to explain it with words, but if you'll look closely at the following pic, you'll see the difference.
Ciao
Chris
PS: I'll keep testing

thanks for the nice comments all.
@Concordino: i am currently working on a list of aircraft that are included in the program. Of course not every aircraft type in the whole world is included (yet).
