Hi all

Living in A Coruña myself and having Iberia - Heathrow tickets for late march, we just got contacted by iberia informing us that they will no longer operate their LCG-LHR flight and that this will be operated by "clickair" and that our reservations had been transfered.

After moaning at them for about 30 mins they eventually gave me some money back... (As the service at Iberia has been deteriorating for the last few years I wont be bothering much...)

Iberia had threatened to leave Galicia all together after Ryanair and Easyjet moved in - i guess they now have the "if you can't beat em policy"

I think that it's only the Marseille route that hasn't been announced yet?

Well, I just heard they sacked their Commercial Director, so I guess things are not going as foreseen.

Flew Clickair last Saturday from SVQ to Orly. Flight was 35% loaded (we were 60-65 out of the 186 seats).
On Monday friends flew it and it was again about half full. This on a major peak day (inbound of Easter holidays)...
I'm afraid it is not working.
Otherwise, the service was good and the punctuality great.

Clickair to Malta?

Post by BRU-CPH »

Does anyone has more information on Clickair from Barcelona to Malta? They announced this route, but it apparently disappeared from their website.

I would like to fly this in November.

Are you sure? The max seating of an A320 is 180.

Maybe Ryanair Girona?

They would like to start 10 routes from Malta.

It is showing on their website now again :D

Starting the beginning of June, 1 flight per week, every Thursday afternoon. (Pity there isn't a second weekly flight at least).

More than likely Clickair were waiting for the Maltese government to announce subsidies for the route. In fact the government announced last week subsidies for any route between Malta and the Iberian pensula, Scandinavia and Bremen. Funny how they picked one particular city in Germany from which Ryanair also announced a new route.

That's the politiics of it all I suppose ...

If Clickair is the low cost version of Iberia, what is Iberia then? A full service company?
You must be joking! I have never seen such a bad service as with them. Even C class was horror. Even their safety demo in Spanglish (you couldn't call that English at all).

Company's like this with a zero service pollicy still fly around the world... And now their LCC sistercompany? I'm curious
