As promised: The report:
When we arrived 4 of the 5 mustangs where at the line and 1 of them (twilight tear) was inside the hangar for a bit of maintenance.
The other planes where beiing pulled to the line, so we first went to the two very nice museums at Duxford.
Both are located on either side of the Runway. We first went to the museum at the end of the runway. It's a very nice museum with lots of nice planes on the ground and on the ceiling. Although, the opportunities to take pictues are not always good because the planes are very close to each other, but it's very nice done and it's nice to see.
In the first museum are present:
-Consolidated B-24 Liberator
-Boeing B-29 Superfortress
-Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress
-Boeing B-52B Stratofortress
-Lockeed SR-71 Blackbird
-Lockeed Martin U-2 Dragonlady (ceiling)
-P-80 Shooting Star (ceiling)
-Fairchield/Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II (ceiling)
-Boeing Stearman (ceiling)
-Douglas DC-3 (ceiling)
-North American T6 Texan (ceiling)
-North American P-51D Mustang
-Mc Donnel Douglas F-4 Phantom II
- F-111 Aardvark
-North American B-25 Mitchell (ceiling)
- F-100 Super Sabre (ceiling)
- and some others.
So lot of planes hang on the ceiling and are hanging over each other.
On static display out of the museum are also several historic british airliners among them:
-BAC 1-11 (British Airways)
-Vickers Viscount
-Bristol Brittania (Monarch Airlines)
-Vickers Super VC-10 (BOAC / Cunard)
-Hawker Siddley Trident two (BEA British European Airlines)
-Handley Page Victor (tanker Royal Air Force)
-and others.
The other museum is located on the other end of the Runway, at the entrance of the field.
This one is stowed full of airplanes from English constructors.
Among them:
-BAC Concorde-100 (British Aircraft Company)
-Avro Vulcan
-TSR-2 Spyplane
-Avro Lancaster
-BAe Harrier
-Panavia Tornado
-Comet 4
-English Elektric Lightning
-Canberra
-Westland/Sikorsky helikopter
-Sepecat Jaguar
-and many other military and civilian planes made in England.
The show itself :
The show started very unconventional with a solo demo of a Mc Donnel Douglas F-15E 'Strike Eagle' of the US Air Force based at LN, flewn by Captain Jerry. Was very nice to see this plane at the Flying Legends.
The next part was a heritage flight with the F-15E, 2x P-51D Mustang and the P-39 Airacobra.
-Further there where the scramble of the spitfire's (9 of them in total).
-dogfight between Messerscmitt Me-109 (BF-109) and a Spitfire.
-the display of the 'Cat' family (Wildcat, Hellcat, Bearcat).
-several flying cirkels performed by the two present Ju-52's.
-team Guinot
-Solo displays from the Hurricane, Gloster Gladiator, Tiger Moth, Hawker Nimrod I & II, Polikarpov I-15bis, Douglas Skyraider,Morane Saulnier MS406, Bell P-39Q Airacobra, the two Corsair II, the B-17 Sally B/Memphis Belle, the B-25 Mitchell from the Netherlands Air Force, the DC-3 of Dakota Norway, and of course the Mustangs (featuring the 'Horsemen').
-the solo display of the Bearcat (the joker).
-the massformation.
The mass formation consisted out of:

Two planes where not there: The Avro Lancaster, wich is very bizar because the plane is based in England, the other one was the Lockeed P-38 'Lightning' (glacier Girl) wich was stuck in Goose Bay due to engine problems.
But after all, it was a long tiring travel to there, but we had luck with the weather, we had good places (right in front of the 'Mustang' parking place) and it was a very nice show.
