Which Sports Do You Enjoy Playing or Watching?

Post by VC10 »

Do you enjoy taking part in sport or watching it, if so which?

I used to practice karate regularly, and attained the rank of purple belt (about four ranks down from black belt if I remember correctly) I gave this up when we moved from the area where the classes were held.

I also like equestrian sports, and enjoy watching show jumping and eventing on TV. I had my own horse a few years ago, but no longer have him now.

I like swimming and used to like going to the gym.

The only other sporting thing was a one-off game in a five-a-side football match. I couldn't move for a week!!!!! :D

I'll write the first reply to this.

I also used to do karate, but didn't get as far as my Mum (I didn't do it as long).

As for the horse riding, I placed a photo of me on Kappi, the Icelandic horse, in a thread over on Member Introductions so the horse riding hobby is already known on here.

I enjoyed watching cricket because I used to have a summer job at the Scarborough Cricket Club, working on days when Yorkshire were playing here (saw loads of famous players). I also enjoyed watching football and rugby (both types).
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

When i was a (very) little boy, i tried out many sports, amongst them were soccer, judo, athletics, tennis, ... But then i started playing volleyball and i liked it very much!

When i went to university, it slowly faded away, and about 1 year ago i finally decided to quit it totally, because of the lack of time. I still enjoy seeing it once in a while though. I'm considering starting sports again after university, but not volleyball anymore. Maybe tennis, but much will depend about the job, and many other things! Ah, and of course i like watching tennis, especially when it are belgian players!

Just love the game!!!

My interest goes more to the mechanical sports: I used to go indoorkarting a few times a week, but I became too expensive.
Before you say something: try riding in a kart for one hour and you'll feel it's quite demanding.
I mostly don't watch any sports, but if I see a report on TV ( during zapping ) about ralley I watch it for a while.
Sometimes I go to pro-car races in Zolder.
And to get a bit of movement I go to work by bicycle. ( or is it bycicle ? )

I used to be in Taekwando a long time ago and then after I got tired of that I took an intrest in horseback riding. I'm not involved in any sports at the present moment, between aviation, homework and my girlfriend I have no time for it. Too bad flight simulation isn't considered a sport  . My favorite sports to watch are Baseball, Football, and Nascar.
