A380 in India

Post by Advisor »

The A380 is in India......

I wanted to know what does it mean......

Is India so important!

Can it afford the A380?

Do Indian airports already known for their poor infrastructure handle the A380?

What are the fueling facilities it has there?

Are the orders by IT confirmed?

Is the national airline AI seriously contemplating buying the A380 that is why it went to India to woo.....

Please guide.
Aum Sweet Aum.

For Airbus, India seems to be important. The plan to sale 50 A380's in 20 years.

In some years ..about three to four - all major Indian airlines will have ordered A380's - also for heavy-traffic domestic routes ..!

Dear Sama91,

Greetings. I do not know what you mean to say by your above message. I just wanted to know a few queries and not just be the harbinger of happiness of my country itself.

In all regards, i wanted to get a feedback of what the international community thought of my country and its aviation future.

About racism, i feel you have a scarlett experience hence you suggest the same. Shouldn't u have relooked what i was trying to ask before suggesting something as deaming as such :!:

In all humbleness, i would like to apologise and seek pardon if my remarks made or hurt anybody's sentiments.
Aum Sweet Aum.

India somehow always reminds me of people sitting on the roof of the train because there is no place inside. Then I see mental images of an A380 with people on the wings and the roof... ;)

That was a nice one  But however that would in rural India probably in the State of Bihar.

In a civilised place like Mumbai you often get to see this Image

Now would that be possible on the A380

Maybe not Advisor, but about a year ago someone was talking about carrying stand-up passengers on the A380.

Maybe they could get away with it on domestic short haul, but you wont be getting me on board.

Probably safer than spots on the wing like they did in "Flight of the Phoenix"

Cheers
