It seems that many messages get deleted lately. Perhaps they were not correctly saved on the server and got lost :?:

Erwin and Tristar - I share your concerns at the number of vanishing messages recently. I too have had completely non-offensive messages deleted.

Please to the admin of this forum - don't delete this message, listen to what we are saying. We completely agree that messages which flame and attack other members should be deleted, but we are seeing perfectly innocent posts being taken off. I had one taken off yesterday, two the day before that (neither were flame attacks or anything because I don't do things like that). Admin - you do have the rock solid support of the members of this forum (this member certainly) but please treat us fairly (and please do not take this the wrong way, I am only trying to put across a legitimate concern that some members have).

Back to the topic, there had been some confusion (certainly on my Yahoo! Group) about the identity of the aircraft involved, some claiming it carried Icelandic registrations, others claiming it was definitely Belgian. I am glad that these photos have been published on Luchtzak because it clears up the matter.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Yes, and strange this happens when Pinochet does a Spanish interview with a Miami based TV station.
But he said: They disappeared, but later they were back...
I posted this one:
IBERIA CONSIDERS BUYING RIVALS
Iberia will consider submitting bids for any European rivals that are put on the market and will investigate its options to purchase these carriers.
Possible opportunities for inorganic growth could include TAP, Olympic, SN Brussels or even Swiss, which recently joined oneworld.
Iberia is in a good financial position to make acquisitions, with cash of EUR1.17-billion (USD$1.38-billion) at the end of 2003 SEP and net debt of EUR668-million, Expansion noted.
The group's interest in buying companies is partly the result of wanting to strengthen its foothold at central European airports, which will become increasingly important owing to the EU enlargement in May, according to the report. Meanwhile, Iberia is waiting for the EC to decide on its joint venture with British Airways.

And see it's back here...

Missile Strike in Iraq Leads to 'Phenomenal' Landing

Read article:
There was only one option left,....
So for 16 anxious minutes, the pilots used the only tool they had, turning the thrust on and off to each engine to crudely steer the Airbus A300 jet......
.... the pilots became so confident that they actually aborted one landing...... they went around and approached Runway 33 Left again....

I also read the article a few days ago.
It's amazing to see what the pilots achieved.

They are very lucky to have followed a course in BRU to be able to handle such a situation.
