BRU 01/05/2007

Post by Stella_Caeli »

EBBR 011120Z 09011G21KT 050V120 CAVOK 19/04 Q1014 NOSIG gives rwy 07L for departures and rwy 07R for arrivals (VOR approach) at the moment 8) .

Is this a nice occasion for spotters or is it difficult to spot arrivals 07R?

Hope to see some nice pics  .

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Why that ? the sun is going down at 21h03 so you'll have 3 minutes beofre the sunset to take a picture ;)

She's late, all right. We waited until 12:40 but she didn't arrive. :x De did get an unexpected surprise though. Delta, I think to JFK, was operated by the Habitat for Humanity logojet again.

I don't really know, you always has to keep a margin, I think it's too close to dark to get a decent shot. But anyway if someone likes to wipe my argument of the table , I'm very curious for the shots ;)

Further things to report : F-GRSN Star Airlines A320-200 came in around 11:50 anyone an idea who he was operating for?

In terms of sunlight, RWY 07R arrivals are just the opposite as RWY 25L arrivals: sun on the nose of the aircraft in the morning, sun on the back of the aircraft in the evening. I think the most spotters will choose the graveyard as spotter-place.

Somebody with a picture of the marvelous 773ER? Would love to see (s)o(m)ne!

Touchdown on the 07R finally at 20:11, just with the last bit of decent sunlight.

11 hours of waiting rewarded by these shots :

I think I remember a diversion of CDG this winter also brought an AF or EK 773ER, but I'm not sure. Why do you like to know that, Robin? To put it in the "remark-field" on planepictures.net? -> funny, isn't it?

Am I allowed to ask ? A first visit of type (especially when it's a widebody) is quite an event for an airport IMO.

Just don't browse that website for my pics than when you're bored, frustrated or whatever by my pictures or comments
(same message for the rest of your "clan" that needs the internet to bash people instead of doing it in person).

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Hello

Nice beast!!! Well , at last it was just on time to catch the sun :D lucky for the photographers wich where there.

I was listening from 20:00-21:00. You guys where lucky he didn't land at 21hrs on the dot. I heard one plane from wich I thought it was the JAI1999, and the runways just switched back to RWY 02, could have meant misery for you guys.

Anyway, since the plane landed earlier I presume it did NOT had the callsign 'November Tango Mike' (with presumable American Crew judging the accent)?

Anyway: does anyone knows the reason for the delay?

Best regards: Yannick ;)
