Looks good but would have been so much cooler if it was painted over the entire fuselage.

I like it, but it reminds me of Delta Airlines colors/livery
Would like to have seen an American Airlines MD 11 in these colors

I like it...and think having it over half the fuselage is jsut right...I think the contrast with the white helps make it work and if it had been all over it would have been too busy.
Having said that I do like the simple elegance of JALs usual colour scheme.
