Airbus workers will not be pleased

Post by bits44 »

This will be a hard pill to swallow for Airbus workers about to lose their jobs:

Following American business practices. About time!

When will you Europeans wake up. You see in the US, here's how it works:

1. If a CEO screws-up, give him a BIG BONUS.
2. If a CEO does his job, give him a BIG BONUS.
3. Make sure you cut salaries of the employees to pay the BIG BONUS.

American business rules at its best!

What Airbus workers are about to loose their job?

Have you met one?

Do you have a link to the saddening personal story of the first worker to be notified he'll soon be fired?

Most likely not, or you'd have posted it here asap to put some extra salt in the wounds.

Not that you don't know it already, but the reduction in employement forseen under Power8 is achievable without a single lay-off through a mechanism of natural redundancies, early retirement and part time labour.

I can onlu conclude it must be hugely frustrating for you to see the world's largest aircraft manufacturer AIRBUS on the way to recapture the number one sales position from Boeing again after their long awaited, much hailed and widely discussed self proclaimed 'resurrection', which now seems nothing more than a one-off event caused by an initial influx of 787 orders which have almost come to a standstill now...

I am somewhat amazed at your post!

I have read all your posts, and every single one is unoriginal and argumentative, and it would appear you are permanently joined at the hip with Airbus. You might try and post some of your own items, rather than just replying to people who have taken the time and trouble to contribute original items.

You have a jaundiced view of everything to do with Euro aviation, and apparently have a very rose coloured sky as it relates to Airbus and pity anyone who says anything against them even though they are factual.

You mentioned in one of your original posts that you were a pilot, do you fly for Airbus?

And to answer your Questions:

"What Airbus workers are about to loose their job?"
you might want to read the Power8 statement.

"Have you met one?"
As a matter of fact I have, one is a relative.
"Do you have a link to the saddening personal story of the first worker to be notified he'll soon be fired? "

See above

But all that aside thanks for your contribution to the topic, I'm sure all the Airbus employees are relieved they are not going to lose their jobs, well! according to you anyway.

I have been in the Aviation business for 35 years, and have many friends both at Airbus and Boeing as well as other manufacturers. Many at Boeing lost their jobs when Boeing went through their downturn, and have rebounded, and the same will happen to those at Airbus.
