Do not know whether these are the new colors. Delta is understoood to be selecting new color scheme. The schematic does look good though and sticks to Delta's traditonal red, white and, blue.

The current livery isnt that old!

Whats is with these bankrupt airlines and new paint? It must cost a fortune! I think the current livery is just fine.

They all want to show they've changed... Wich is understandable.

It doesn't cost anything except the design costs, since planes will not be painted untill a big check anyway (in most cases).

These are apparently pictures of a mock up taken during the filming of a commercial.

I don't like the livery much, though. The tail is inbteresting, but the font isn't nice and the widget should remain bi-colored IMO. I also think the Fuselage needs more color.

Delta new colours

Post by tokalosh »

Apaprently the new colour scheme saves money. Uses four colours instead of eight and it takes a day less to repaint the aircraft, releasing aircraft back to service earlier.

A 757 was revealed in the colour scheme at the same time as Delta exited bankruptcy today

It's not my favourite, but it sure beats the current 'deltaflot' colours.
