You know very good when I gave information, that I gave everything. But not this time because Brussels Airport don't gave the timetable or operators. This not only for these new destinations but also for existing.

Have a close look at their site and you will discover it.

I briefly looked at the site of Brussels Airport, but I didn't detect any useful indications.

I would exclude SQC, because I assume that they would prefer to serve China out of SIN and not out of BRU. Flying BRU-CHINA would also require some backtracking down to SIN.

I don't think a Chinese carrier would start services to BRU out of 3 destinations in China, but rather out of one single Chinese cargo hub.

Therefore my best guess for now would be that these destinations will be started up by Cargo B.

Their website mentions: Cargo B Airlines will carry out cargo flights in accordance with customer and market demands to mainly the Middle- and Far East, Africa and South America. http://www.cargob.com/aboutus.html

I guess its going between SQ and BR. Both are users of some of those airports.

Why not Cargo B, even the cargo schedule for Silverfleet to West-Africa, normally starting in April, is not published on the Brussels Airport site.

BR indeed flies TPE-HKG and TPE-MFM, but I believe they don't fly anywhere in mainland China.

With the rather difficult political relationships between Beijing and Taipeh, I would be surprised if China would indeed grant permission to a Taiwanese airline to technically and commercially operate any Europe-China-Taiwan flights.

Just like SQ is hubbing in AMS/BRU for Western Europe, I guess they would focus on SIN to serve the various destinations in China and the Far East. Also BRU-MFM/XMN/NKG-SIN looks a bit like an odd triangle to me.

So if I have to guess between SQ, BR and another carrier, I would choose the latter. But hey, I'm not a cargo expert! 8)

And yes, Albanian Airlines is coming to BRU. They start service next week 30.03.

They will fly three times a week: Wed, Fri and Sun with an evening flight arr 21.00h and dep 22.00h and will use the Bae146.

The timetable is already loaded on the Brussels Airport site.

The new timetable on the BIAC site gave SQ for this one. Honestly, I expected silverfleet for this one.

I don't know if you can gave the airline who will fly this, or is it still a secret?

It's not a secret but for now I can't give any info about the companyname, sorry.

Silverfleet has more interests in Lagos. But never say never ofcourse.

Rumours, I know its a rumour, are going that it will be a Chinese carrier and they asked a few years ago to remove the "ringweg" to its current place and this for security reasons. Any info on that?

I'm just guessing now, but it could be China Airlines (Dynasty). Some time ago, 1-2 years, I heard something about them. But they never showed up, maybe now.

Today I noted a new ticketing/information desk of Best Air in the departure hall. So I guess we can expect quite some charter traffic from this airline at BRU this summer...

- Brussels Airlines launches 3 new routes in 2007: Cagliari, Krakow and Bujumbura.

- easyJet will launch a daily BRU-GVA flight in June 2007.

- I have read that Etihad Airways will drop the BRU-YYZ section on 2nd June 2007. The carrier will operate the AUH-BRU-AUH on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

- The timetable for the BOM-BRU-EWR daily flight (each way) by Jet Airways is on www.brusselsairport.be

- Northwest Airlines will launch 5 flights (Monday till Friday) a week on 7 May 2007. Then, it will be a daily flight as of 15 June 2007.

- Hainan Airlines operates 2 flights a week in the winter season and 4 flights a week in the summer season.

Is it possible that the airline launch a daily flight to Beijing the year round ?

- Does someone know when Qatar Airways could launch the non stop Doha-Brussels route ?

I read in a article in "La Libre Belgique" that there was a direct Brussels-Cincinnati flight before the 11 September 2001. Does someone know which airline operated the flights ?

As you know, China Airlines is based in Taiwan, ROC.
Already for decades they've been flying cargo flights from TPE to AMS/ARN/LUX/PRG/MAN/FRA...

Apart from HKG, CI has currently no scheduled pax or cargo flights from Taiwan into mainland China.

Considering the political tension between ROC and PRC, I would think it is rather unlikely that a Taiwanese carrier would operate ROC-PRC-EUROPE cargo flights through Macau, Nanjing and Xiamen.

I have found different sources saying that Jet Airways will also launch the New Delhi-Brussels-Toronto in 2007.

Does someone has more information ?

Yes, TUI has recently ordered 65 new Boeing aircraft for the different airlines of the TUI Group including Hapagfly, Jetairfly, Corsairfly and Thomsonfly.
