Thanks! Very interesting! I didn't know all the carbon fiber for the 787 was made near Seattle. I wonder how widespread this technology is?

The technology has been around for a long time, essentially used by the military in its earliest stages but now of course brought into commercial use. the B2 is a composite bomber and has been in service since 1989.

This is off topic, but some might find it amusing. I attended an EAA meeting where the guest speaker was a B-2 pilot who had participated in long range missions from Missouri. He said the B-2 had no crew rest facilities, so he and his fellow crewman went to a K-Mart and bought an aluminum framed patio lounge to use as a cot during those long flights. Low tech in a super high tech plane!

Very nice but it shows the holds with four Pallet positions and five Container positions. That can't be right.

Does anyone have a configuration for the holds?
