Hey Thanks André !

To answer your question Comet:
There are still too many pilots without a job so we don't have that much choice, but if I had the chance to it wil be a B737 NG or A320 fam.

Long haul is also nice but would love to start as FO on short or medium haul --> more take off's and landings

Still have 1,5 year to go so still hoping for the best!

Hi !
Luchtzak is - of course, very international, and I've to admit it's one of my faviourite sites, but I've to admit to (shame Jumbolino  )
I never introduced myself.
But since I feel now that it's time to do so
I was born 34 years ago nearby the iron curtain, and thanks to my granma which came to Vienna before WII I was born one the beautiful side of the curtain.
Since I am a child I love animails
especially horse back riding
Image
For studies in 1989 I came to the tyrol and felt in love so I lived there for nearly ten years - and since this year I spend most of my spare time there again.
In this ten years I felt in love with a little ferret too
Image
in 1995 she had seven nice children and one which had also like her mother a eight year good life at my home was Blacky
Image
and due to my Metro DUS contract I had nearly 100 times a ride in this plane
Image
of course - since this time I'm a big airline enthusiastic, but meanwhile SNBA is my absolute faviourite airline
and of course due to my nickname this is my absolute faviourite aircraft
Image
and since 1993 I work as an IT freelancer, mostly on database stuff
and I like little linux pinguins

Greetings,

Jumbolino,

That's the nicest introduction I have seen. Congratulations. You share your passion for horseback riding with another lady of Luchtzak. Guess who?

Here I am on Kappi. He's an Icelandic horse (the best horses in the world, believe me!!!)

Here is my dog Dexter asleep on the settee in my old house.

Now that Jumbolino has shown her pets, I thought I'd show mine!

More on the photos. I'm wearing the blue and white hat, and VC10 is wearing the yellow and black hat (her horse is Freykja - also an Icelandic horse). It is never a good idea to get on a horse without protective headgear, though it seems to be the done thing in continental Europe.

And also publicly implying that some members' posts are better than others is just the sort of thing which will lead to bad feeling and fall outs. It's just the same as yesterday's imnplications that some members are more important than others!!!

Louise, what do you like to say with your last post ?
and odue to my introduction, I had some animails, but Blacky my second ferret died last May, and due to my job (that I'm nearly permanent on the road) I've none at the moment. when I was a teenager we had also a dog - Modell like where it bites it's his frontside - if I find a pic I'll scan it in and post it here ;-)
And Louise, yes it's usual to ride without head-protection, but if you do a closer look I wear one on the pic. Normally here they people look that children wear head protection but when you're 14 or more nobody takes care and in a hot summer day you have a better feeling without so you let it be :-(
and last sentence - at the age of 17 or 18 I had several time a ride on an icelandic horse, yes they are GREAT !
