The combined company, Thomas Cook Group Plc, will be based in the UK.
MyTravel is being advised by Credit Suisse Group and UBS AG...
MT had already reduced the aircraft in its fleet, and closed travel agencies. Job cuts can be expected..

this is very surprising, but it's a good thing to decrease competition in the touroperating market.

This merger would have no effect for Thomas Cook in Belgium (source: VRTNieuws.net).
