I guess that BA would have taken a strategic decision not to support BMED ..presumaby the perceived cost being higher than the loss of revenues form the destinations they can no longer serve.

I dont imagine that they will be able to introduce their own flights to many of these destinations [shoud indeed they want to] until further aircraft arrive in their fleet.

It is however another blow to BA when they are being battered on all sides.
