AirIndia changing its livery!

Post by Advisor »

:?: A little birdie tells me that AI is changing its livery :P

 Full red belly instead of the gray one

 Red engines with the saggitarian logo in gold on them

:!: the arch style windows retained without the entire red stretch

 And yes saggitarian everywhere

Can anyone confirm this :?:

Why is AI going in for a livery change :?:

Is this something to do with the IPO :?:

If this is just a money making gimmick, will AI head honchos not realise what happened last time when Rajan Jaitley embarked on a similar exercise to enable the Sun Logo

That's about time... Their old livery was very 1960's, and not in a good way like AA's.

Very nice improvement, AI looks like a modern company again.

Hello

Looks prety good , altough I also like the classic scheme.
Anyway , I've seen much other (bigger) airlines wich USED to have a FANTASTIC livery (see Asiana etc...) wich has a new livery that TOTALLY SUCKS so... I think this new Air India livery is still quite nice.

I have to get used to it...
My first opinion, a nice tail but too much white on the body.

They are on the aircraft, just not as exaggerated at the previous scheme.

Yes, indeed. I think it would look great. Would probably cost a lot to make though.

Hello

Now do I have bad eyes , or do I see a B777-200LR without the 'Raked Wingtips' there?

Best regards: Yannick ;)
