ba connect
what does everyone think will happen between the co-operation between oneworld members and ba, once ba connect has been bought? will the likes of iberia, brussels airlines and american airlines continue codesharing on the routes when flybe is running them?
I guess [but don't know] that apart maybe from the AA flights into Manchester most oneworld codeshare business from UK airpotts operated by BA will originate to/from connections at Heathrow and so the bulk of the one world connecting traffic will continue to be served by the heathrow trafiic to the major UK/european centres.
The sale of BA connect may reduce the options, assuming the Flybe doesnt continue the codeshares, but don't imagine it will drastically harm the serive provided to oneworld customers wanting to travel to the larger UK regional airlines.
In the short term of course BA will own 15% of Flybe and so may continue the codeshares..but who knows.
