Hewa Bora: Date of switching from TriStar to 767?

Post by stratofreighter »

Hello all,

I hope the moderators don't mind me setting up a separate "Hewa Bora"-thread... If so, my apologies...

Anyone know how much longer "we" can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Hewa Bora TriStar in Belgium?

The resident Brussel spotters are probably already bored to death with this plane, but foreign visitors still can't get enough of her...

This one is about Hewa Bora's 762ER.

This one is also about that matter, with some more info by (an) insider(s)...

From wikipedia:
A Boeing 767-200ER will replace the Lockheed Tristar in a few months on the route Kinshasa-Brussels (for noise restrictions) and the possible destination of the Tristar would be then Dubai.

As far as I know Hewa Bora has not requested slots to Brussels this summer season. Only Bravo Air has. See the BRU Summer 2007 schedules at this forum: http://www.aviationphotos.org/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=11
