Today the first picture of the Avro in Brussels Airlines colors on airliners.net.

It look very nice, but I find the b-tail is all right, not to small :D

Kind regards

Not as good as I expected... :( IMO the avros looked 10x better in SN's scheme.

Saw her yesterday, looks good on the Avro. Only thing is: dark blue engines. That would have been sooooooo much better...

Hello
Not as good as I expected... Sad IMO the avros looked 10x better in SN's scheme.
I've no offence to the color scheme of Brussels Airlines because I like the taillogo , but I think you have the same problem like many of us (I think) , it must be the lack of color on the fuselage. It makes me think of Cathay Pacific B747-200F B-HME some years ago , it was white with kind like the same belly like the current Brussels Airlines paint scheme. And to be honest I didn't liked that plane , except for the fact that is was a B747.

By the way , I really don't know why they really HAD to refresh the paint on the belly. It was way to good to be already replaced I think. If they would have just repainted the tail it would have been PERFECT. The line gives a bit happier look to the plane in my humble opinion.

So the fuselage is a bit cheap , who knows they will renew the colors for that in the near future? Who will say?

Best regards: Yannick ;)

the "B" looks better on the other side of the tail as on all other A/C types.

I agree with Bruspotter on the fuselage, and have already told it in another topic. To me, the aircraft would look better and very special with a completely grey fuselage and dark blue engines.
But who are we to comment on this?

By the way, could anybody photoshop the Avro to have an impression of the grey fuselage and the dark blue engines (in another topic, somebody tried the completely grey 737, and I liked it...)

@ SAB021

Thanks for the edit!!
I like the plane that way, to me it looks better than the present livery, and it reminds me somewhat of the Aeroflot livery.

Military? It looks classy to me, and reminds me of the old British Airways livery or the new Aeroflot livery...
