I must agree with Bart: it is the first time that I see a seat map that tells which seats are best and which ones should be avoided.

The airline websites don't say a word about it. For them every seat is good as long as it brings in hard cash!

Well I don't agree with you

Is this a discussion forum, or is it not a discussion forum?

It's pretty damned obvious where the worst seats on an aircraft are, BA are known for the ones against the very back being the worst because it is impossible for them to be reclined properly.

That probably goes for other airlines as well.

The ones neat the exits are known for having the most legroom in economy, I don't need to come on a discussion forum to see some stupid seating plan which only states the damned obvious in my opinion!

I know that some people on here seem to have an objection to me putting my point of view, but there are people on this forum who are sick and tired of opening a thread to see nothing posted but lists of links, pictures of engines, pictures of landing gear, and now pictures of seating plans!

I am happy some people like my new ideas of informing all

of us at Luchtzak of things we usually do not see.

I agree that the endless links lists were a bit boring.(777's idea)

But I always try to find new original and uncommon articles,

pictures, drawings, etc..... in order to show them to you all.

Sometimes I discuss them with andre(777) before I start.

Bart(MD-11) is also very original and unique with his nice drawings.

Me too was surprised when I first saw the best seats pics,

because airlines are not very eager to show them to the pax.

(in order to avoid Air Rage, Joke)

Another reason (of new ideas) is to get reactions from members,

like those of Andre(sn26567), Bart(luchtzak), SFM, etc...

I am really happy now.

Why aren't the seats in row 2 (ABDGHJ) on the 777 of AA good seats ? Has anybody an explanation for that :?:

I think because just before their seat you have a big panel (toilets and galley), however most people don't bother to be seated there they have added the 'beware'-sign on the seatmap :?

Hi Bart,

I see that you have an answer to everything.
Eventhough you do not fly on 777's you know the plane from inside out.
Me too I prefer seats with no seats in front of me (as a passenger of course).

Can you all stop to have critics to each other.

If you don’t like a topic, don't read it !

If this continues the web team will take action.
So try to make a positive comment on the topics and not to attack each other personal.

This is not only my personal idea of this, but also of the entire web team.

Greetz,

Dave

I have just deleted a few posts from 3 different people, in all fairness. Let's hope that we will not have to do it again.

After the big amount of problems caused by topics like this, the administration of luchtzak.be has decided not to tolerate any simillar topics anymore.

Quality is important, not quantity. It is totally irrelevant for this site to see endless topics concerning production lists, pictures, etc.

We are all old enough to find this kind of information on the web.

We wanted to close topics like this already but we decided to give it some kind of democratic sense. That's why André (sn26567) created 2 polls around this subject (to give us an impression about how people thought about it). Apparently some so called 'adults' (being the thread starters of topics like this) found it appropriate to create several new nicknames and made like this the polls totally invalid.

Well, if this is what we can expect from those very few people, we pay them back with the same respect as they have for us: zero. So today we have made an end to this genre of topics. I hope that troubles and personal attacks will now be something of the past.

We do not come back anymore to this decision.

It's sad that the valuable part of luchtzak members (around 95%) had to suffer from the show those few trouble-causers made. One has been banned already, I want to assure to everyone that the others will immediately follow next time they only slightly cross the border of what we expect on this forum from adults.

A big sorry goes out to the luchtzak readers who were annoyed by those few people. We will try to do everything that this does not happen again.

Kind regards
Frederic
