Valid Poll

Post by 63 »

A Poll is only valid when at least 200 active topic senders out of
a total of 2500+ members participate.
This is <10% of total membership.

This is the absolute legal MINIMUM.

Filip,

Only 98 members have sent at least 10 posts and can thus be considered as active members of the forum. According to your criteria, a poll would be valid if 10% of them, i.e. 10 active members, have expressed their opinion.

The best thing to do, for the sake of these forums, is to end all these polls now. They will lead to nothing but trouble, but I'm only an ordinary member and no one will listen to me.

A poll about the validity of a poll !!!!!
What will be next ??? A poll about the validity of a poll if the poll is posted before or after midnight ???
Please stay serious.
The fact that LESS than 1 % answer these polls says more than enough.

I think it's high time that all the administrators put their heads together to decide what they want to become of Luchtzak. The Luchtzak Forums are not just a competition to post the largest amount of posts. I thought it's a forum to post some INTERESTING - AND IF POSSIBLE - AVIATION NEWS

As I mentioned before I became member of Luchtzak because in the beginning I found some interesting AVIATION news, and not because I could read some stupid post and endless "yes - no" discussions. So to all who love aviation, if you have something interesting to say > Post it !!! If you don't > Just shut-up!!!.
Keep 'Em Flying !!

Twan01,

Your opinion reflects that of the administrators. Let's talk aviation and nothing else (except for those who want to "relax" - and do nothing else than relax - in the pub).

Thanks for your support.

If this forum will be for talking aviation and nothing else, can I take it that the City Guide forum will soon be removed????????

That is what a certain other member on this forum wants, and if his opinions are the right opinions then we can obviously say "goodbye" to the City Guide forum can't we???????

I know you all hate my restaurant reviews, but I like writing them, they offend no one, and if you don't like them then you don't have to read them.

But to remove the facility for writing them, on the say so of someone who has hardly made any contribution to this forum (and loves nothing more than making personal attacks against other members) would be grossly unfair.

Cool down, Louise!

You know that many people appreciate your restaurant reviews. When I wrote
Let's talk aviation and nothing else (except for those who want to "relax" - and do nothing else than relax - in the pub)
I meant the whole non-aviation section of the Luchtzak website, including the city guide, and not just the Luchtzak pub.

Do I Andre? For the number of comments they don't attract, what other conclusion can I come to?

I don't know who or how many "appreciate" the restaurant write ups because no one ever says so.

But if this other character is the one with the right ideas, who is saying exactly what the Administrators think, and who also wants to see the end of the City Guide forum is the one who will have his views listened to, I don't see that the City Guide forum will be left alone. Which is a shame because it is one section of the forum which has so far escaped the attacks and bad feeling which have surfaced in recent weeks.

Keep the City Guide Forum!!!!!!!!!
