Boeing B747 LCF Japan to USA

The LCF is in the air from Japan to US as I type this (Australia ACSST 2110Hrs

Has a test cargo of B787 components aboard.

I know they removed the 744 winglets from the prototype during flutter tests.

From the new pics, it looks as though this is to be permanent unless the camera angle has missed them.

Anyone have any info?
