Iberia's still launching route out of BCN!

Post by jsd95 »

Despite Clickair, Iberia is still launching new direct european services out of Barcelona.

A new daily BCN-Nantes will start at the end of March, with a CRJ (Air Nostrum).

2nd Iberia destination out of Nantes, after MAD.

Iberia is switching to Clickair on routes where there is a lot of compitition with other LCC's. ( Vueling, Air Berlin , Easyjet, ...).

Air Nostrum will be the only airline serving Nantes from Barcelona.
So why sending Clickair at low cost prices if you can earn more money? [/url]
Best regards,

That's true, I thought it was a global strategy, to transfer the whole BCN base to Clickair to keep capacity on MAD. I think it would also be possible for cities such as Nantes because even if IB will be the first airline on this route, Ryanair for example will be able to react very quickly...

After this great news for Nantes, another one today : IB will add a new frequency on NTE-MAD, from daily to double-daily.

Three daily IB flights out Nantes in 2007.
