Anyway, here comes my personal top 10 of 2006 :
On number 10 we find an aircraft that has visited our country many times and still does. Nevertheless, she is a real pleasure to look at :
9V-SFE still in Great Wall colours
Number 9 is taken by multiple aircraft, being the 757's refitted with blended winglets. From a spotters-point-of-view they are very interesting, but they also got some new life in the 757's still doing their duty !
Number 8 is the host for the only Yak-42 I got to see this year :
RA-42421 of Kuban ALK Airlines
On number 7 we find the SAS retro jet OY-KBO :
On 6 wi get to see one of my favourite An-26's this year
HA-TCZ of Budapest Air Services
The 5th place is taken by G-CPEM, the special painted B757 of British Airways
Number 4 hosts the only MD-11 of Shangai Airlines Cargo, B-2176
Then on the third place and second runner-up, we have SX-FIN, the B747 of the new and still very small airline Sky Epress Aircargo :
The second place and runner-up goes to 5Y-VIP, the Airbus A310-300 of African Safari Airways, seen here as she climbes out of Dusseldorf only minutes before the massive thunderstorm in the background hit the airport.
And my number one for this year is LZ-HMQ, still wearing one of the best looking colourschemes on a Tu-154 at the time.
