It's an excuse but not a good one.Look at the seat row"13" given at almost every type of plane by American Airlines.I don't think you will find seat row 13 at Brussels Airlines.

On ZE LIVE (PLUG TV) a spokesman (a woman actually) explained that they toke the decision due to passengers complains especially from France, Italy and United states.
All the marketing packaging and consumable were not yet ordered.
Although no complaint have been received regarding the 13th row so nothing will change.
This is not really a serious broadcasting but the answer was given by a Brussels airline's employee.
As a pilot I must say that it was the first thing I noticed on the new logo - but, I said to myself there's another 13 on the backside and another 26 in the front so no worry...
Nevertheless I am happy that they changed it - looks better and it got some more publicity!!
