The 747 looks very elegant in that scheme.
The most sexy girl in the sky: The Sud-Est Caravelle 12.

I believe there is no maintenance hangar at LGG that can accommodate the 747, right?
So I suppose TNT will have a contractor for that at AMS.

Thanks to everyone for the great pictures.
A special "thank you" go's to Blue565 for giving us the inside intel on this beautiful moment. You are a very lucky person to be able to fly this plane.
I know it is maybe too much to ask but a lot of spotters would appreciate a "touch and go" before your landing with full stop.
Anyway enjoy your flight and expect a lot of spotters on your arrival @ LGG.

Hello Jeroen,
MK Airlines - G-MKAA - ETA 08:00 - ETD 11:00
Kalitta AIA - N703CK - ETA 08:00 - ETD 11:30
(all times UTC)
Usually we have also Transmile (MD-11) and Ocean Airlines (747) at LGG on a regular basis, but unfortunately nothing yet scheduled for the 21st.
Kind regards,
GR.

Hi
How the people outside of the TNT company can be aware if the plane will be on time or delayed as the website of LGG doesn't display the cargo flights arrival times on their website?

It should be on this website, if i comes directly from the US, but if he stops somewhere it could not appear on the site as they only relate the IFR flights to/from the usa

There might be a "slight" problem: Liège Airport will be blocked by striking civil servants on Thursday, 21 December: see
https://www.aviation24.be/article13251.html .
Will the flight be re-routed to another airport? Brussels for example?

This action is a SHAME !
They jeopardize the economy just because they think only about themselves.
I dont understand why the gov dont send the police.

Hi guys,
Latest news is as follows:
Yes there will be some actions by civil (ambtenaren) unions.
NO, it will not affect the arrival of OO-THA. TNT has received the assurance that there will be minimun service at LGG tower.
Kind regards,
GR.

Aren't there no military controllers @EBLG?
(please do not understand this wrong, military controllers are no minimal workers, I know some of you guys... This is not what I said.)
The
is, will they take over?
