Brussels Airlines to Bujumbura summer season

Post by Ardinerk »

BruAir will start Bujumbura as from the new IATA summer season. The contract will be signed next week in Burundi by Vicomte Etienne Davignon. They dont need an extra plane for it since they will drop one CKY.

CKY? I would have thought EBB as KLM took over a lot of Cargo.

West Africa does bring a lot of money. How many airlines operate to ROB and FNA?

I never said west-africa was no good! But the return is better in the east of Africa. Anyway BruAir has a new destination!

that's right PNC, Bujumbura is too far away to do it in combination with DKR. That's why I said EBB, that would be possible.

It will be in combination with NBO. But we will see alot of changes in the east.
And sorry guys I can't reveal my sources. All I can say, is that they come from the former Sabena House.

DKR is the biggest money enhancer in terms of cargo. So please, do not talk about things you do not bloody know.

Has somebody more info about the "future" direct flight to Bujumbura? I saw yesterday an article about it on the site www.tourmag.com.

This site is not always reliable but more info is welcome.
