Moscow (SVO T2) Trasfer to Alitalia

Post by desiguy2447 »

I am flying Aeroflot from New Delhi connecting to Alitalia at Terminal 2 at SVO..

The question is do I need a transit visa, and if not will the Aeroflot transfer desk issue me my Alitalia ticket and check my bags all the way...

Last time I went via SVO I was on Aeroflot all the way so no visa was required, but I have never changed to another international airline at SVO. So I am just wondering how I'll get my Alitalia ticket issued once at SVO T2 since passengers cannot leave the terminal those in transit without a visa.

I am thinking because Aeroflot is part of Skyteam in Delhi Aeroflot should be able to issue me my tickets for the Alitalia flight since Airfrance has always done this for Alitalia and Delta..

thanks
