BRU 22/10/2006

Post by Established02 »

Via Dubai - via Dubai - via Dubai

22/10 08:25 Hong Kong via Dubai CX 061 08:25 74X
22/10 20:45 Taipei via Dubai BR 689 20:45 M1F
22/10 09:45 Singapore via Dubai SQ 7366 delayed 13:35 74Y

Rather unusual to have CX coming in that early, isn't it?

4X Singapore Airlines

22/10 09:45 Singapore via Dubai SQ 7366 delayed 13:35 74Y
22/10 15:25 Los Angeles SQ 7883 15:25 74Y
22/10 17:40 Singapore via Johannesburg SQ 7344 delayed 20:10 74Y
22/10 19:25 Chicago ORD SQ 7895 19:25 74Y

SQ has been flying BRU-JNB-SIN for a while. Since when are they also flying SIN-JNB-BRU?

What would be the top 5 cargo destinations out of BRU?
1) SIN 2) JFK 3) JED 4) DXB 5) HKG

All flights you listed are scheduled flights : JNB-BRU started October 11, CX061 already last month (September 16).

CX061 replaces CX001 on Sundays. As this flight doesn't stop at MAN like CX001, CX061 is in fact a full cargo turnaround. By avoiding a stop at Manchester, Cathay is able to come in early in the morning.

According to the BRUtrends 2005, these are the top-10 cargo destinations out of BRU(in tons):
1. New York 68.537
2. Singapore 51.337
3. Seoul 40.045
4. Riyadh 30.653
5. East Midlands Derby 29.064
6. Hong Kong 28.467
7. Taipei 26.419
8. London 21.816
9. Dayton 20.680
10. Milan 19.953

Dubai is mainly used as a fuelstop/technical stop to/from TPE,SIN,HKG,...
That's why DXB is not represented in the top-10 destinations.

The Binter EC-INQ is here for maintenance. It's standing in the Lufthansa Technics hangar. According to one of the engineers, it's schedule to leave this evening or tomorrow morning, depending on the progress of the work.
