Asiana Airlines Cargo pulled out of BRU?

Post by globetrotter »

Any one know if they have ended BRU service? and did they fly passenger flights there in the past?

I believe OZ flew a scheduled 744 pax into BRU for some time during the nineties.

When you ask something like this, we want also to know where you have this kind of information from.

Asiana did fly pax flights into Brussels , first with 763 , after that they upgraded to 744

Must have been around the end 90's they stopped the pax services

Thanks to Established02 and B737229, I didn't knew Asiana also operated pax services into BRU once (probably because I started spotting in 2001 only).

After doing some research, I found a picture of a pax OZ B744 taken at BRU (25L) :

Asiana Cargo website does not show any freighter service to BRU in schedules for October.

Globetrotter, as I have asked you a first time, were do you have this information that Asiana will stop cargo service to BRU??????

And no cargo this month to BRU????? Have a very close look. Asiana Cargo gave a very good montly cargo schedule. BRU will be served well.

I have checked different cargo sites and the Asiana Cargo site and you can still see that they serve BRU. There is, at this moment, no single announced of Asiana that they will change their portfolio.

OZ entered BRU market in 1994 and pulled out in 1997.

They used to fly to SEL via VIE.

Does anyone know how it comes that an Asiana 747 is already parked at Brucargo since at least Sunday?
At least I think it's parked, usually it's not there every morning and every evening when I pass by the airport.
