Many members have e-mailed me regarding the 2010 Olympic Avtar used in my ID.
The object is a stylized Inukshuk, a Symbol used by the native Canadians from the North to mark trails and passages in their travels throughout the wilderness. The idea of using the symbol came from EXPO 86 held in Vancouver, and was donated to the City as a Legacy of the Fair. I might add the size used by the Inuit in their travels only measures about a metre.
