Why would anyone bother to modify a 747 for a movie? I bet most people outside of the aviation geeks on this forum wouldn't even recognize the difference. :wink:
By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly an airplane?

Wonder if Boeing ever looked at the old B47 configuration for the 777 when the 2 engines V 4 was an issue?

It looks... weird. :? I think there would have been better aircraft to modify this way.

With all the CG special effects, I wonder why they even bothered to create a modified 747 instead of just altering a plain one after shooting the scenes?
