Estonian Air is going to increase the number of flights to BRU from 4 to 7 flights a week. The new schedule is going to start with the next winterschedule on 30 October.
Flight ET704 operated by leased A330 and operated ADD BRU CDG iso ADD CDG BRU due to scheduled maintenance on F-GSEU in CDG. Flight ET705 was cancelled out of BRU.
Jetairfly is transforming the charters to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana into scheduled flights.
We will see next year the effect on the charter figures. The same we saw this year on the charter figures because Thomas Cook Airlines transformed a lot of charters into scheduled flights.

That is just a cosmetical change isn't it? What difference does it make anyway?

This makes quite a difference. Don't forget that this is not a selfdeclared scheduled flight, but a line for which the Dominican authorities have granted scheduled flight rights.
This means :
- that non-EU citizens can now also book this line, whereas this is not allowed for charter flights (such as the BRU-PUJ-POP Martinair flights for Thomas Cook). So non-EU citizens working and/or living in Brussels, and also Dominican citizens. Hence : a larger target group for these flights.
- another advantage : also one way bookings and bookings in reverse direction are allowed. Once again a measure allowing Dominican people to fly into Brussels.
So : I consider this scheduled flight status as a good thing for Jetairfly and - in a larger perspective - for Belgian aviation and employment in Belgian aviation.
When I was checking the new wintertimtable, still 95% is knowing, I saw that some destinations of SNBA, where they use their own metal will be served by an A320 or A321. Some of those destinations are Moskou (DME), Istanbul and Tel Aviv.
Is BIAC perhaps knowing that SNBA will use other aircrafts than current?? Enfin, this is pure speculation but it is a real surprise to see that kind of information in the timetable.
BIAC is also using a new ICAO code for Jetairfly: JAF. This is a not existing code. IMO BIAC is using its own codes.

I'm not sure about this, but I believe that BIAC receives their info about a company timetable from the company itself. So it's not "inventend" by BIAC. It's also possible that it will change in the future back to A319.
The new code for TUB --> JAF is officially released today. Starting from the winterseason you won't TUB anymore.
