vrt is talking about a 737 :D

so that's why they changed to rwy 20 for departures and 10 minutes later to 02 for landings...

Only HLN is talking about an A320, all the others: VRT, NB are talking about a B737.

Also on www.hln.be they spoke about a B737 first.

The plane stood still very fast and was evacuated while standing on the closed runway (seen during work, was cleaning SX-BKA on the north side of Terminal A). The evacuation by the emergency slides took place some 10 minutes after landing. All passengers were initially sitting on the grass next to runway 25R after the evacuation.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

I was flying out of BRU tonight on BA 401 to LHR and we took of 2h30 late due to tonight's problems at BRU.

The captain originally said one of the runways was closed but didn't give any further info. We were later told a minor taxiing colision had occured which I noticed between a Singapore Cargo and a Royal Air Maroc aircraft.

Bit of a chaotic night getting out of BRU and several people had missed their connecting flights to places like Bangkok by the time we landed at LHR.

I've got some photos of the aircraft after landing. Taken from a far distance though with my mobile phone. I'll put them on the forum when I get home after my shift at BRU.

Fotos are not so clear, sorry. But you can notice a whole load of emergency service vehicles on the runway. It looked quite impressive indeed...

This is what you get when passengers are obliged to put their Dell or Apple laptop in the luggage compartment.
