A cross border agreement has been reached for Licensing and Type rating qualifications between the two countries.

This is a good agreement between both the US and Canada, sharing the North American airspace, I'm surprised it has taken both countries so long to have such an agreement. Now all that needs to happen is the Open Skies agreement with Canada.
