Flying Virgin Express in June 2007, seat 21A a window seat ?
Hi
June 2007 I'm also flying with Virgin Express (BRU -> FCO) and I'm not sure I've chosen the right seat in the 737-300. Can anyone confirm that there is a window at seat 21A, so I can take some beautful pictures.
Thanks a lot!!

Yeah I know. I've booked the flight already (for june 2007), so I've it for the cheap first minute price (I've chosen Virgin also for the times, so I'm pretty early in Rome and leave late some days later). The concept of Virgin Express and SN will remain seperate. I've also chose the special option to reserve a seat, so I've chosen 21A in the (according to the plan) 737-300, but I'm not sure the seat has a window.
I think you can be pretty sure to have a window, as the windowless seats on a 737-300 are around row 7-8 in the 737-300, and around row 12-15 on a 737-400.
Row 23 on a 737-300 is towards the end of the plane, and all rows have windows over there...
By the way, I have never undestood why Boeing needs to hide some windows in the middle of the fuselage. I heard this is because tubes and pipes pass trhough this area. Anyway, it is very frustrating to realise that there is no window on your booked window seat....

I agree with Duke. From my 737 experiences (also with Virgin Express) the windowless window seats are situated around the first third of the aircraft. So you should be fine I think.

That's correct, it is mainly for tubes (airco etc...) that you don't have windows.Duke wrote: By the way, I have never undestood why Boeing needs to hide some windows in the middle of the fuselage. Thanks. I've also contacted vrgin/SN about the schedule enz, because the wil merge and so on. They said they don't know the exact time schedule (however I've booked a certain time) en the exact plane (however, I've chosen my seat). But I'll be happy if I have a window with a nice view and I'm going around the same times. I've already paid.Avro wrote:I agree with Duke.
