Hi all,

I wasn't spotting yet (so no log), but I had one request :

03/08 11:00 Newark K4 625 LANDED 09:58 74T

Does anyone have the reg of this B747-100F of K4 that visited today ?

Thanks in advance,

Robin Bamps.

Slightly off topic but still involving Brussels, just spoke to my Dad who was on the Brussels-Manchester this morning and there are air traffic delays today, biac.be gives 40 odd minute delays earlier this morning. Have all the controllers gone to the coast or something.....

K4 = Kalitta Air. Should have left already...

Most likely because of works on runway 25L, only 2 out of 3 runways are available for operations: ebbr-construction-works-rwy-07r-25l-sum ... works.html

Of course, just that the crew told my Dad there were ATC problems, probably fobbing him off!

I believe we're currently on the single runway use procedure as from yesterday, because 02/20 is not available due to strong north-western winds and 25L/07R due to construction works? Am I correct?
If the current winds prevail, this could be the case for the rest of the week!

Less runways in use gives ATC-restrictions, I guess the pilot told that to the passengers. Not entirely fobbing them off ;-)

The crew didn't 'fob him off' at all. There were ATC restrictions en-route to the UK due to a reduced ATC capacity over there.

Correct.

"UP TO 30 MINS DELAY 0700-0800 AND UP TO 60 MINS 1700-1930. NOTE THAT INBOUND TRAFFIC EBMB WILL BE AFFECTED ALSO" -- Network News 03/08/2006. A look on the BIAC arrivals page confirms this.

For tomorrow:
"MODERATE ARRIVAL DELAY IN THE 0530-0730 PERIOD. NOTE THAT INBOUND TRAFFIC EBMB WILL BE AFFECTED ALSO." -- Network News 04/08/2006

Kind regards,

Just to add to the off topic stuff started by me... just spoke to my Dad again, he was still on the ground in Manchester delayed for 1 hour approx due to the runway maintainence and weather. So much for sunshine and getting the work done!

Other nice visitors were a RAM B737WL, an Air Algérie B738WL (no eyebrows) and the evening flight of El Al, also with a B738 (no eyebrows). Can't remember registrations because of duty.

Hi,

I saw just in the database that the Tu204 SU-AEJ came in on the first of august, wasnt that on the third of august, he came in that day for a maintenance check at the EAT/DHL hanger or was that the second time this week?
